Hello friends, it is time for some music. The last months I was inspired a lot by listening to the La La Land Soundtrack & Dead Man’s Bones (Ryan Goslings band – that you should totally check out!). I also listened to a lot of funky music, after watching Freaks & Geeks, it just makes me so happy sometimes – singing and dancing along. I’m thinking about writing and photographing more for this blog, to revive the spirit. What would you want to see here? Some recipes, posts on moving, photography…? What I love about bullet journals is that you can design it however you want. You could make it very minimal (like me) or you can work with different colours, paper, tapes… The possibilities are endless here.

There’s a ton of videos around the web, so don’t get overwhelmed. You can find a lot of ideas online, but the easiest way is to simply start your own journey. Maybe write a list of pages you want to have in your bullet journal and then just start it. You don’t have to buy an expensive journal right away. If you’re not sure if this system suits you, just take one the old journals lying around and try bullet journaling. If it feels right after some time, then buy a good journal (a Moleskin or a Leuchtturm).

What you need to start your very own bullet journal
A Notebook / Some pens / What ever crafting material you like (washi tape, watercolour, some different colourful papers, glue, coloured pencils, markers …)
The other day I went to have some breakfast with my mother. At the vegan café they served us some delicious scrambled tofu and I instantly fell in love with it. A bowl of it gives you the energy for a full day.
What you need (serves 2):
200 g tofu (1 package)
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 sweet potato
5 - 7 little mushrooms
1 cup kale, loosely chopped
garlic- cumin- chili powder (1/2 teaspoon each)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
optional: bread + hummus
How it works:
Unwrap the tofu and crumble it with a fork. Set aside. Prepare a sauce by adding the spices to a bowl and adding enough water to make it pourable. Prepare the vegetables and put the chopped sweet potato in a pot. Cover it with water and boil it. Then let it simmer at medium heat for about 5 minutes. Pour out all the water.
Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 Tbsp of olive oil and the onion. Add kale and the sweet potato. After about 2 minutes add the other vegetables and the tofu. Then pour the sauce over the ingredients. Cook for another 5 – 7 minutes until the tofu is slightly browned. Serve immediately with bread and hummus. Or chip potatoes, toast or salsa sauce.
